Day 1 Speaker- John Dismukes Jr., CPCU, CIC, AAI, AIS

Owner of Dismukes Training and Consulting, LLC, has over 48 years of experience in the property/casualty insurance industry.
He has worked as a marketing representative for a large national insurance company, as an independent agent, and as a director of education and professional development for an insurance industry trade association. He has been a licensed insurance agent in Oklahoma continuously since 1971.
He obtained his Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter designation (CPCU) in 1977, his Accredited Advisor in Insurance designation (AAI) in 1984, his Certified Insurance Counselor designation (CIC) in 1994, and his Associate in Insurance Services designation (AIS) in 2000.
He is an approved insurance instructor by The National Alliance, The Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (IIAB), The Professional Insurance Agents (PIA), Westport Insurance Company, and Utica National Insurance Company.
He travels extensively and has conducted insurance related seminars in all 50 states and Puerto Rico. He also is recognized nationally as an expert witness in insurance litigation matters – specializing in the areas of errors and omissions and coverage disputes.

Cathy is a regular presenter for various agents’ associations, agencies and companies. She is a National Faculty member of The Risk and Insurance Education Alliance, speaking in the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR), Ruble and RiskPro programs. She also serves as mentor for many new National Alliance speakers and as an Educational Consultant.
Cathy is the co-author of Builders Mutual Insurance Company’s Certified Builders Insurance Agent (CBIA) designation program and speaks regularly in CBIA classes. She also serves as Commercial Lines Education Consultant for Insurance Agents & Brokers. In addition, she has written numerous articles and courses on insurance and customer service topics for various publications and education providers.

CIC live course cancellations received within 3-10 business days of the institute will incur a $50 fee ($370 refund). Cancellations received within 1-2 business days of the institute will incur a $150 fee ($270 refund). There will be no refund if the participant is a no-show. ALL CANCELLATIONS NEED TO BE IN WRITING.
