John Masselli, Jr. CIC, CPCU, AAI, AU, AIS 

John Masselli is currently President & CEO of Enterprise Advisory Partners, LLC in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.  He attended the University of Rochester and completed distance learning studies in management with Kennedy-Western University.  John’s insurance career began in 1979 as an agent for Prudential, then as a Sales Manager in 1981, instructing the new agents’ training program until 1984 when he became an independent agent.  

John received his CIC designation in 2001, his CPCU designation in 2009 and his AAI, AIS and AU professional designations in 2009 and 2010.  He served on the Forms Writing Committee of the Underwriters Rating Board RSO and was a member of its Board of Governors.  He has been an instructor for the Risk & Insurance Education Alliance since May of 2017, teaching CIC commercial lines topics.  

He was Greene County’s STOP-DWI Coordinator for 20 years, during which time he was an instructor for the “Point & Insurance Reduction” course in New York state.  He regularly speaks at various civic and professional organizations and is a member and Past President of the Northeastern New York Chapter, CPCU Society.  He was voted “Insurance Professional of The Year for 2017”, by the Albany, New York Capital District Insurance Professionals Organization.

Mercy Komar, CIC, CyRM, MLIS, CCIS

Mercy Komar is a Commercial Risk Advisor and Cyber Risk Manager at L. Calvin Jones Insurance, specializing in SMB enterprises.  

Mercy earned her CIC designation in 1996 and has amassed over 1000 hours of advanced insurance education.  She speaks frequently on Cyber and Executive Risk topics to professional organizations and as a panelist in webinars.  Nominee for Women to Watch in Cyber 2021, she is a continuing education instructor in the Midwest for the Risk & Insurance Education Alliance, the Greater Cincinnati Insurance Bureau, and the Ohio Independent Agents. 

As an award winning agent, she speaks frequently to industry groups about coverage and risk management involving cyber and executive risks.
