Chuck Hembree, CIC, CRM

 

Chuck recently retired as a Producer for American Church Group of Missouri in St. Louis, MO. He now divides his time between risk management and insurance technical instruction. He joined CLH Insurance in 1982 and was promoted to VP in 1986. He became President in 1995 and CEO in 2000. Chuck became a part of American Church Group of Missouri In June of 2022. Chuck retired from the agency 12/31/2024 but continues to enjoy Insurance Instruction and Risk Management consulting.
Chuck graduated with honors from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville with a double degree in Music Education and Music Theory/Composition. He taught in the public schools for 3 years before choosing to enter the insurance industry. A 1987 recipient of the Certified Insurance Counselor designation & a Life-Member of the Certified Professional Insurance Agents, he has maintained a commitment to insurance education. He served as President of the MAIA State Insurance Association, Chairman of Education for the Missouri Association of Insurance Agents, formerly served on the IIABA National Catastrophe Task Force Committee, and as advisor for the State for the licensing requirements for agents and brokers. He is a national faculty member for the Certified Insurance Service Representative program, writing and presenting William T. Hold advance lecture series for the Program. He obtained the Certified Risk Management designation in 2012. Chuck is a past member of the Board of Governors for the Society of Certified Insurance Service Representatives, part of the National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research in Austin, TX.
