The course will discuss the insurance consumer’s perceptions of the activities and operation of insurance coverages from both a legal and coverage perspective. In this class we will learn about the ethical portion and impact both to the insured, agent, insurance carrier and society. Discussion on the factors leading to increased claims against agents and agencies. In this area discussion is on the specializations of services, diversity of policies, and complexity of forms. Standards set in the agencies to ensure employees are trained and understand the ethical culture in the agency. Examples will be discussed
